Who is Black Friday Shopping?
After a long day of socializing with family on Thanksgiving, I am always anxious to get out and get some child free Christmas shopping done. I love getting all those Black Friday bargains. I usually scope out the ads but have certain hot spots. I would say for being a mother of two and a husband who doesn't shop, I do most of the shopping for our family. I try to scope out the sweet deals in the catalogs and not the deals I can get any other day on sale. I like to go out when stores are opening to avoid long lines.
For the first time, Bed Bath and Beyond will Have it's doors open while some families are still eating their Thanksgiving Dinners.
Sticking to tradition, other popular retailers such as Costco and Sam's Club, home improvement stores, will be closed on the holiday and will begin their promotions on Black Friday.

Black Friday is typically when I start my holiday shopping and nearly complete it as well. Opening times have crept earlier, but they haven't changed much this year. Like last year, J.C. Penney will open at 2 p.m. Thanksgiving with Kohl's, Macy's, Target and Best Buy all opening at 5 p.m.
Walmart kicks off in-store Black Friday sales 6 p.m. Thanksgiving.
Store hours and openings may also be affected by county or municipal laws.

Dollar General (Rice, Foley, Richmond, Kimball, Maple Lake or Becker)
Nothing I like more than night to shop my heart out without kids and walk off some Thanksgiving calories off while scoring sweet deals.
