I've been seeing a lot of coverage lately on despicable behavior by Eagles fans towards the Vikings faithful who attended the game in Philly. If you showed up in purple, odds are you were harassed, confronted, soaked in beer, and for some -- injured; all because of the color of your shirt.

Back here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and 'Minnesota Nice,' we see that kind of behavior as barbaric, immature, vulgar, and intolerable -- and we're right! Why would anyone treat someone else that way just for wearing another color jersey, cheering for another team, or living in another state.

The thing is, many people face the same kind of torment every day on this planet, in this country, and right here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes -- just for having different colored skin, following another religion, or coming from another country.

We all agree the Philly fans were an embarrassment -- so in life let's act like Vikings fans instead (not hating people based on their race, religion, sex, ethnicity, who they love -- OR the color of their jersey).

Skol!
