Earlier in the week the Wild earned wins over the New York Islanders and new Jersey Devils.

Mikael Granlund (16 & 17) and Eric Staal (28 & 29) each scored a pair of goals for the Wild.

The victory keeps Minnesota in third place in the division, six points behind second place Winnipeg; and eight behind division leading Nashville.
