Win Tickets To See Foo Fighters At Target Field In Minnesota This Week On The River
Rock band Foo Fighters are coming to Minnesota's Target Field in July of 2024, and 96.7 The River has a chance for you to win tickets before they go on sale to the public later this week!
The "Everything or Nothing At All" tour will hit Minneapolis on July 28th. The Foos will bring L7 and The Pretenders along as opening acts for the show. A presale will begin on Thursday and the general public on sale will start on Friday.
Every day this week at 8 a.m. tune in to the River to play "Name That Foo," where we give you a line of Foo Fighters lyrics and you respond with the song title on the River Mobile app (free in the App Store or Google Play). At the end of the show we will draw one winner who submitted the correct answer.
Foo Fighters released their first record in 1995 and were pretty much instantly off and running. Since then, the band has sold over 32,000,000 albums worldwide and continue to be a huge draw throughout the country.
The band suffered a heavy dose of adversity when drummer Taylor Hawkins died in March of 2022, which forced the band to postpone its world tour at the time. The band has since hired Josh Freese to man the drums.
The band's current tour will begin July 17th in New York City before stops in Boston, Hershey and Cincinnati before making its way to Minnesota.
