Wind Advisory Tonight
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory in effect from 6 pm this evening through 7 am Monday morning for most of Central Minnesota, including Benton, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties.
Strong and gusty northwest winds will occur overnight through this Monday morning. Expect sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
Behind the cold front, temperatures fall overnight into Monday with our first below zero wind chills of the season. Wind chill values Monday morning in St. Cloud will be near 15 below.
From the National Weather Service today: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects tonight. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
