The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Tuesday, December 29th. This advisory is currently for the areas along and south of a line from Morris to St. Cloud and Cambridge, to west-central Wisconsin, and is expected to impact the Tuesday evening commute.

Snow will begin across western Minnesota Tuesday morning, and spread eastward during the day. The Tuesday evening commute will be impacted as this system moves across the region.

Snow totals of 3-5 inches are expected before the storm tapers off in the early hours of Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is reminding everyone to slow down and use caution while driving as this storm is expected to make for slippery road conditions.

This winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 AM Tuesday, December 28th to 3 AM  Wednesday, December 29th.
