ST. CLOUD -- The snow emergency in St. Cloud is over. City officials declared a snow emergency that went into effect at 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

Because the streets and alleys have been cleared they have now rescinded it.

During the snow emergency crews towed 78 illegally parked vehicles. During a snow emergency, all illegally parked vehicles are towed instead of just given a ticket.

The St. Cloud Public Works Department says you should bear in mind that there are still isolated slippery intersections that are being treated and some snow removal operations are continuing.
