My two sons and I LOVE going to the Sartell Community Center on a hot/cold/rainy/snowy day for a full day of fun. We check out the KidZone indoor playground, grab a snack from the vending machine, check out the Sartell Historical Society display in the lobby and, the best part, hang out in the Sartell Community Center's AMAZING library.

The library is unique because all of the (many, many) books are donated and can be taken out and returned at your leisure. There's no official check out or check in, you just take what you can read and bring it back when you are done with it.

Last summer my older son, who was five, and I were looking for something new to read.

In the library's Graphic Novel section we saw a book called "Dog Man." Written like a comic book, the story revolves around a half human/half dog police officer who squares off with the villainous Petey the Cat.

We read the entire book that very night and my son was HOOKED. Ok, I loved it too! As it turns out, there are 13 books in the Dog Man series (so far), so we have been hard at work trying to read all of them!

We are currently on the ninth book, which we borrowed for FREE using the Great River Regional Library and its E-book program. In fact, we have read a lot of the Dog Man books using the library.

A Dog Man movie has been in the works for the last couple of years with a planned release in January of 2025. On Tuesday, Dog Man fans got their first look at the movie when the studio released the trailer:
