St. Paul native Joe Mauer is in the final six games of his current contract, and many in the know feel these are the final games that we will see Joe in a Twins uniform.

The 35 year-old Mauer admits that he's considering retirement. He's finishing up his 15th season with the Twins, and doesn't see a scenario where he plays for another team very likely.

On Tuesday night, Mauer passed Harmon Killebrew to take the top spot on the Twins all-time on base record at 3,073. Killebrew sits at 3,072 with Puckett in 3rd at 2,018.
