Bloomington Approves Development Plan for Water Park at MOA

My family enjoys trips to The Mall of America for rides, shopping, dining, and now the city of Bloomington is one step closer to adding an indoor water park.

The indoor water park will be a hit with my kids. They have loved the water since they were babies. I use to call them my water babies.

Last summer, we spent a week in Wisconsin Dells checking out multiple water parks. The Mall of America is just over an hour drive from our house this will be so much fun during Minnesota’s long winter months.
At a meeting Monday night, the Bloomington City Council approved the development plan for the park. The 335 thousand square foot facility would go up just north of the mall, with a connection built over Lindau Lane.

Financing for the project still needs to be approved, that could happen early 2020.
This is exciting. I love new fun activities within a reasonable driving distance. Let’s be honest long car rides with kids can be stressful. Hoping they get this project done soon.
