Blueberry Muffins (Scratch) – Comfort Food that Actually Turned Out

I'm one of those people who looks at sites like Pinterest and thinks "oh, I could do that".  And it never happens. OR- even better, it turns out nothing like what the picture looked like it would.  In other words- a Pinterest fail!

Joanna Gaines -- yes, the one from Fixer Upper on HGTV.  "Y'all wanna see your fixer upper"?  She now has a cooking show.  I've only seen that one once, but she also has a couple of cookbooks out.  And if you have ever noticed during their show, there always seem to be some sort of baked goods on the table as she is going over what they would do with their "new to them" house.

I got the cookbook and thought... let's try this.  I just hope it doesn't end up like some of those Pinterest fails.

Here we go... blueberry muffins... and NOT from a box (which is usually my go-to).  First- preheat your oven to 350. Second- either spray your muffin pan (12) with cooking spray or use paper muffin liners.

You can get the full recipe here- it's from Magnolia Table volume 2.  If you have seen or if you have volume 1, there are stories that go along with each recipe.  This one doesn't have quite the personal touch as the first one, but it's still great.
