I love when I hear of movie stars or rock stars doing good things for people that are in need. Helping people in need this holiday season, making it a  little brighter. I  love to give gifts. Makes me feel good. I love watching their expression when they open it. Or just simply helping people in need. When I see others do it, it just makes me smile.

Bret Michaels from Poison is playing Santa Claus in the Bahamas this Christmas. He's teaming up with the Paradise Fund to deliver $20,000 worth of toys, food, and supplies to hundreds of families on Abaco Island. Today he is flying his own plane there. He will also be sporting a Santa hat when he does it. Bret will be showing off his holiday spirit.

Stories like this melt my heart. Because, every act of kindness is contagious and can give hope to people who are in a dark place. We may not be able to do it with a private plane and give $20,000 in gifts and goodies, but every little bit helps. Even if it's not money you give, you can always donate your time.
