Santa Is Missing, You Can Help In The Search

Santa has gone missing and the Enforcement, Logistics, and Fortification (E.L.F.) is looking for him. That is the premise behind the new movie Red One due out on November 15th starring Dwayne Johnson as Callum Drift. In a clever marketing ploy, the movie asks for people's help in finding Santa, whose code name is Red One.

How are they doing that you ask? They are doing so through text messages.  Missing Posters for Red One adorn movie theaters with a phone number with what look like little pull-off tabs.

Once you text a message to the number you will receive a text thanking you for joining the E.L.F Task Force and requesting you to text YES to confirm.

After you confirm, the fun starts with other texts with clues, links to images, or even short messages from Zoe, Director of Mythological Oversight and Restoration Authority (M.O.R.A.).

Some of the messages turn out to be flat-out promotions for toys or other movie-related items but it is still a fun way to promote the film which with The Rock, Chris Evans, and Lucy Liu is sure to become a modern-day Christmas Classic.
