There's another recall affecting Dole ready-to-eat salad kits.  This time around, Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc. is voluntarily recalling some of their Endless Summer Salad Kit(s) in a variety of states.  Both Minnesota and Wisconsin are included in this recall.

According to the United States Food and Drug Administration, the concern is with an "undeclared allergen" - specifically fish and egg.  Details released from the company share that a dressing and topping kit (called a "masterpack") that was designed and intended for a different product manufactured by Dole was unintentionally used and included during a portion of the production of two lot codes of the Endless Summer Salad.  Because of that issue, the labeling and packaging for the salad kit doesn't disclose the ingredients that could cause allergy problems - because they weren't intended to be in there.
