The $750 sign-on bonus is for all new "outfitters" hired before July 1.

Cabella's/Bass Pro Shop is looking for new hires and offering a $750 sign-on bonus! "What?!? $750 Sign on bonus??" Cabela's Rogers location posted on Facebook. "Yes!! Any hourly outfitter hired between May 1st- July 1st is eligible for the sign on bonus! $250 after 30 days, PLUS $500 after 120 days. Must be in good standing to be eligible."

New hires before July 1 will earn a $250 bonus after the first 30 days and another $500 after 120 days, good-standing and required hours withstanding. Cabela's also boasts paid vacation, flexible hours, merchandise discounts up to 45% discount, benefits, health savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, wellness programs and 401(k) programs.

According to Bring Me the News, Cabela's in Rogers is looking to fill 44 full-time and part-time positions. Locations in Woodbury and Owatonna are also looking for new hires. Cabela's is a subsidiary of Bass Pro Shops, which was ranked America's 9th Best Large Employer in 2021 by Forbes.

A recent jobs report from the state as reported by Andy Brownell for WJON shows that Minnesota has regained 60 percent of the jobs that were lost during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown last year. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says the state had a net gain of about 12,300 jobs in May and has added nearly 250,000 jobs over the past year after losing over 416,000 from February through April of last year.
