Sometimes an old pair of jeans is exactly what feels the best.  Other times that old denim is just that... old and needs to be either thrown away, or given to someone else as a hand-me-down.

Target is holding the first ever "take back" event where you can turn that old unwanted denim into a new pair of jeans.

Here's how it works:

  1. Bring up to five denim items, in any condition, to a Target store and drop them in the marked in-store boxes.
  2. Receive a Target Circle promo code for 20% off all denim apparel, including Target-owned brands like Universal ThreadWild FableGoodfellow & CoCat & Jack and national brands like Levi's.
  3. Redeem the Target Circle offer between August 4-10.

This event is a promotion just in time for back to school shopping.  And a lot of the fun and new trendy styles start at just $10, and with that 20% discount on top of that, it's a great deal.  If you have the Target Card, you can save even more!

Consumers who participate in the Denim Take Back Event and have the Target Circle Card can also save an extra 5%* off their denim purchase, in addition to their 20% off Target Circle offer.

This event is going on at every single Target, but only from August 4-10 which is just a week starting this coming Sunday.  So, if you were planning on going school shopping next week, start looking at the denim in your house and see what you can donate for a discount!

Happy Shopping!
