Heather Nathan Is Our Teacher Of The Week!

We surprised another teacher this week! We stopped by Eden Valley-Watkins elementary school to surprise 2nd grade teacher, Heather Nathan! She was nominated by one of her students, Zackary Heinen and his mom, Mindy. Here's what they had to say about Heather:

From Zackary: She is very nice & she's fun. She also is a good teacher!

From Zackary’s mom: She has noticed the abilities of individual students and has sought out ways to enhance their learning. She communicates regularly with parents and encourages parent involvement and interaction; she emphasizes and seeks out positive behaviors and rewards the kids individually and as a class.

My second grader came home before Halloween and told me that he suggested to his teacher that she dress up as an angel for Halloween because she is so nice.

We are lucky to have such an amazing teacher to help our children to grow academically and in kindness.

My son knew once he met her last year, that he wanted her for a teacher.
