This weekend is going to be another hot one across Central Minnesota, with high temperatures forecast to to be near or above 90° through Sunday.

Dewpoints will also be on the rise to create heat indices near 100° Friday and Saturday. An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect from Noon Friday through Friday evening.

The record highs for Saint Cloud July 23rd through July 27th are 107°, 104°, 102°, 103° and 102° respectively, so we won't be quite that hot. The average high temperature for late July is 83°, and we'll be about ten degrees above that Friday and Saturday.

Today and Friday look like they should remain sunny and dry, with a decent shot at thunderstorms over the weekend into Monday.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Summer will quickly return with highs back in the 90s for Friday and Saturday. There is a chance of thunderstorms late Friday night into Saturday.
