How Far Do Minnesotans Commute To Work? [POLL]
I read a horrifying study today that really depressed me. The study was from the Daily Mail/PR Newswire, and here is what they found.
Every 20 minutes that you commute to work, is like getting a 19% pay cut. So for example, if you make $50,000 a year, your 20 minute commute makes it feel like $40,500. If your commute is 40 minutes, like mine, that would make it feel like it's in the lower 30's.
Is that ONE WAY?????? Really???? What is this study????? Is it round trip? If it's one way...then I'm really in trouble. Come on kids...we have to move. You have to start walking to school. We only live 8 blocks away. Or maybe, I need to start riding bike to work. No...that's too far...especially in the winter. Yep. It's just too far.
The average American spends 49 minutes a day driving to and from work. How far do you drive?
People in Washing DC and San Francisco apparently have the longest commute in the United States. What about here in Minnesota? Is is the commute to Minneapolis St. Paul?
How long is your commute? And where do you commute to and from?
