Huskies & Johnnies Get Wins, Gophers Lose Again Saturday

The SCSU Huskies (7-3) and #4 SJU Johnnies (9-0) were both winners Saturday afternoon, while the Minnesota Gophers (4-5) lost again, this time at Illinois.

With their 51-0 win over Hamline, St. John's claimed the 2018 MIAC Football Championship outright, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Playoffs.

St. Cloud State overcame a 14-point second half deficit to beat Minot State 30-23 in the wind, rain, and snow in Minot, North Dakota.

The Gophers have now lost five of their last six games after falling to Illinois 55-31 Saturday in Champaign.
