
Minnesota Sees Four Motorcycle Fatalities in Span of Three Days

At least four motorcycle operators died in crashes between Sunday and Wednesday. The fatal crash victims range in age from 17 to 71.

Four Fatal Motorcycle Crashes Reported in Minnesota Between Sunday and Tuesday
The most recent of the fatal crashes occurred Tuesday afternoon in Scott County.
A news release issued Thursday by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office says a motorcyclist identified as 71-year-old Donald Dale Sibbet, died in a crash on a county road between Jordan and New Prague.
The preliminary investigation indicated the Jordan man left the roadway while navigating a curve then struck an embankment and driveway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities indicate impairment from drugs and/or alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
26-Year-Old Man Dies in Rochester Motorcycle-SUV Crash
A young Rochester motorcyclist died in a crash at an interchange along Hwy. 63 Tuesday morning.

The Rochester Police Department says 26-year-old Damon Saponari was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision with an SUV at the intersection of 40th Street Southeast, Woodlake Drive and the entrance ramp to northbound Hwy. 63.
The SUV driver was not hurt. The crash investigation continues.
17-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Central Minnesota
A teenager lost his life in a motorcycle crash in Central Minnesota Monday evening.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says a 17-year-old boy died after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a silage trailer being pulled by a tractor when he attempted to pass the farm machinery.
Hastings Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash at Hwy. 61 Interchange
On Sunday, 28-year-old Jeremiah Thomas Miller Hurley died in a collision with an SUV at the Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 95 interchange in Hastings.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Patrol says the SUV driver was not hurt.
