Preliminary information released by the State Patrol indicates first responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly after 2:00 Tuesday morning.

The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly around noon.

The crash victim was the lone occupant of the only vehicle involved.

A total of 14 people were involved in the tragic two-vehicle collision. 13 were riding one of the vehicles, described as a transit van.

The person who called emergency services indicated their friend had become separated from the group.

The deadly crash occurred on Hwy. 210 about 10 miles west of Brainerd.

The drivers were the only people involved.

The State Patrol responded to the fatal collision in southwestern Minnesota shortly before 7:30 a.m.

Troopers across the state responded to 255 crashes between noon on Tuesday and 9:00 Wednesday morning.
