Elk River Crash on Highway 169 Sends Woman to Maple Grove Hospital
ELK RIVER (WJON News) -- A Zimmerman woman was taken to the hospital after a Sherburne County crash on Thursday.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. in Elk River.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by 22-year-old Alexyia Nerdahl and a pickup driven by 40-year-old Matthew Douglas of Zimmerman were both traveling northbound on Highway 169 when their vehicles collided.
Nerdahl was taken to Maple Grove Hospital with unknown injuries. Douglas was not hurt.
The State Patrol was assisted by Elk River Police, Elk River EMS, the Elk River Fire Department and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
