Valentine's Day is fast-approaching, and St. Joseph's New Orleans heritage restaurant Krewe has announced its special Valentine's Day menu on Facebook.

"This will be available Fri - Sunday along with our regular menu," the Creole-inspired restaurant posted. "We do have a few reservations left for the weekend, but they will fill up fast!"

The four-course dinner includes:

Appetizer -- House made Creole Riccotta and Crackers
Soup -- Shellfish Bisque
Entrees -- Petite Filet Mignon, Charred Broccolini, Pommes, Bernaise
Dessert -- Red Velvet Cake

 

Dinner also comes with complimentary champagne toast. Vegetarian and vegan substitutions can also be made upon request. Cost of the meal for two is $100. Reservations can be made here.

Owned and run by chefs Mateo Mackbee and Erin Lucas, Krewe opened in downtown St. Joseph June 2020 -- a dream venture two years in the making. Krewe isn't like most restaurants you've been too, especially in Central Minnesota. For one, the menu reflects the culinary diversity of New Orleans featuring dishes of Cajun, Creole, Italian, Vietnamese and Irish origin. Because the crew at Krewe believes that food is meant to be savored and shared, entrees are delivered to the table as they are completed, rather than when the entire order is ready, allowing you to share and savor each dish while it is hot and fresh.

Mackbee and Lucas also own Flour & Flower, a Scandinavian bakery and coffee shop next door to Krewe.
