Even though there is no Morrison County Fair or Dam Festival this year, residents in the Little Falls area will still be able to get their fair food fix. Starting July 15th, Miller Concessions will be setting up shop in the parking lot of Coborn's in Little Falls.

Miller's made the announcement on Facebook saying:

We’ll be serving our famous MN State Fair Flavored Cheese Curds, hand dipped corn dogs, freshly made mini donuts, gourmet funnel cakes and many more fair food favorites!

Hours of operation will be Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am - 8 pm.

This news comes after Miller's had set up camp in the Crossroads Center parking lot thinking they would only be operating Thursdays-Sundays. The demand was so great that they have since extended it to every day through Labor Day.

With no fairs and festivals going on this year, the carnival industry has been getting creative and finding ways to pivot to keep their businesses alive. Many concession stands are popping up across the state, and Gopher State Expositions has even let people know they can rent out their Ferris wheel for private events.

There's no denying that 2020 has been hard on everyone, but there is something reassuring about seeing this type of industry make do with what they can and serve up fair food favorites with a smile. No doubt that memories will be made over corn dogs and cheese curds no matter where they are being sold.
