With all the technology that is readily available these days, kids and younger folks can’t quite grasp how us older folks used to spend our time.

I’m 53, and we had a video game console when I was a kid, but we only got a certain amount of time to play because we only had one television in the house.

We had to find other ways to entertain ourselves and spend time with our families, and one popular way was putting together puzzles.

This was a great way to pass the time and engage our minds. I was never patient enough to work at one for every long time, which I kind of regret now. Maybe that would have helped me have the patience that being an adult requires.

There are a lot of people who still like to tackle the challenge of putting together a puzzle and probably have tons of them around the house.

Borrow or Donate!

Did you know that there is a program where you can borrow puzzles instead of having to buy a new one? There sure is. Take it home, put it together and then return it and take another.

You can even donate some of the puzzles you have that you’ve already put together so that others can enjoy it too.
