This story has been intriguing me since it came out.  How does this even happen?  All we are hearing about is Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman.  Only because they are famous people that did some very shady things in order to get their kids into the college of their choice. There are a few other parents that are facing the same charges.

Felicity Huffman was smart... she owned up to everything and pleaded guilty right away.  She is facing much less of a prison sentence... and probably will wind up with a suspended sentence.  Lori, on the other hand, paid WAY more for her kids to go to college and didn't plead guilty.  And now she and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli are facing additional charges including money laundering.  The charges, when you put them together, add up to a possible sentence of 40 years.  I'm sure that will not happen, BUT I think they will get some jail time.

Here are my questions... will they actually serve any time?  I feel like it's Hollywood... and people who go to jail, in many cases, are let out in a very short time.  OR will they be like Martha Stewart, and have an example made of you?  Also- will Target (I believe they still have Mossimo clothing line sold there) continue to sell that brand?  You would think maybe they wouldn't want to be associated with that.
I guess we will see...  But this is so shady.  In what world would you think that this is ok and you would get away with this forever?  Someone will always find out when dishonest stuff like this happens.  The poor kids... I don't think they even knew about the way they got into school.  How embarrassing.
