Major Project For I-94 Coming Soon

I remember thinking 20 years ago that they need to expand I-94 from Maple Grove to St. Cloud. Then I moved away for a long time. When I finally moved back home this past fall, I thought "That should be done by now". It wasn't. Well, it's finally happening.

A major, 3-year, project to improve I-94 starts this year. It will run from Maple Grove to Clearwater and will include resurfacing, adding lanes, drainage improvement, bridge work and more. It will make things a pain for a little while but it is needed and traveling back and forth to the Twin Cities will be much easier.
