If you're of a certain age, you most definitely remember the first time Michael Jackson performed his iconic moonwalk on stage.

It was during his performing of "Billie Jean" during the 1983 TV special  "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever," and it changed the the world forever.

Well, the same flashy crystal-custom stockings MJ wore during that performance are for sale at auction and -- according to TMZ -- are expected to rake in between $1 and $2 million.

The socks are part of Frank DiLeo's auction collection. DiLeo is the late music executive who signed Jackson to Epic Records and acted as his manager from 1984 to 1989, reports TMZ.

A signed letter from Jackson to DiLeo -- and token thanking his manager for "keeping him on his toes" -- accompanies the socks. An additional letter from DiLeo's wife affirms that the socks were the same ones Jackson wore during his TV special moonwalk.

The auction runs November 13-22.
