I was out and about running errands Friday and my route took me down Division. As I drove through the light by Chick-Fil-A, I noticed pink and yellow flags waving up towards the next stoplight up.

Flags that I usually only see at county fairs.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get fair food if it was available, so I pulled into the mall parking lot and lo and behold, there they were. Miller Concessions food stands set up and operating just like they would be at a fair. It was a beautiful oasis in the sea that is the fair-less summer of 2020.

Naturally, I had to get a snack while I was there and opted for the corn dog stand. I would've gone for the bucket of four different flavored cheese curds, but didn't feel like needing to use my Epipen today (dairy allergy).

The corn dog was everything I have been dreaming about since warmer weather hit in this state. Made fresh in front of me, and served with a big ole jug of fresh-squeezed lemonade. Heaven in a parking lot.

I wasn't the only one who stopped, all three food stands were hopping with activity. People were out and just trying to get a taste of summer wherever they can. I asked the cashier at the corn dog stand what the hours of operation were for the summer and she said she thought they were slated to be set up every weekend all summer, Thursday through Sunday 11am to 7pm.

Miller's cheese curd, corn dog, and funnel cake stand are ready to serve Central Minnesota this summer, go out and get your fix!
