Join Minnesota’s Public Sessions To Voice Your Agricultural Concerns
Most of us know that the people doing the work each day are good resources for those who make the rules to get input from when it comes to the “how to’s” and “how not to’s” of whatever the business they are in is.

I think a lot of people would agree that the best managers, owners, or supervisors are the ones who have experienced firsthand the day-to-day operation so they can better understand how to set the best guidelines for the business.
They Want To Hear From You
That’s why it’s no surprise that the Minnesota Department of Agriculture is seeking input from Minnesota residents to present to the State Legislature for next year. Farmers, workers in food related businesses and those who are impacted by farms and food businesses are invited to present ideas at one of two public input sessions.
The first of these sessions will be held Wednesday September 3rd from Noon to 1 and the second meeting is September 4th from 5-6pm. Both of these input sessions will be held on Zoom, so you won’t need to travel anywhere to let your voice be heard.
The next legislative session will begin on February 17th and at that point the Department of Agriculture can bring forward suggestions for changes to what is on the books currently. If you have questions, you can get more details on this topic here.
