The crisp morning air and changing fall colors have me itching to be out in the woods in a tree stand. Here is a breakdown of the upcoming hunting seasons in Minnesota for Fall 2021.

Deer Hunting:

Archery: September 18-December 31

Firearms: November 6-28 (dependant on the zone you hunt in, check your zone and dates here)

Muzzleloader: November 27-December 12

Youth Hunt: October 21-24

Early Antlerless: Octoer 21-24 (only happening in portions of southeastern Minnesota)

Bear Hunting:

General Season: September 1st - October 17th (lottery winners only)

Wild Turkey Hunting:

General Season: October 2nd - October 31st

Small Game Hunting:

Rabbit (cottontail, snowshoe, and jackrabbit): September 18th - February 28th

Prairie Chicken: September 25th - October 3rd

Pheasant: October 16th - January 2nd

Crow: September 1st - October 31st, and December 14th - January 15th

Raccoon, Badger, Opossum, Red Fox, Gray Fox: North zone: October 14-March 15, and South zone: October 21-March 15.

Squirrel (gray and fox varieties): September 18th - February 28th
