As COVID-19 has continued to spread across the country and many state governments have ordered non-essential businesses to close their buildings, many Minnesotans have started to work from home.

Yet, prior to this pandemic, just 23 percent of all workers in the U.S had worked from home, and only 29 percent were able to do so. Now, people who are allowed to work from home may not always have the best environment for doing so. According to the study from Wallet Hub, "the best work from-home-conditions include low costs, reasonable comfort, and high level of security."

When all of the rankings were said and done, Minnesota came in 13th in the nation. Minnesota was ranked at 14th in "Work Environment" 25th in "Living Environment" ranked.

Delaware, Washington, and New Hampshire rounded out the Top 3. South Dakota was number 10, Wisconsin was number 33, and Iowa was number 44.
