If you love salsa, entertainment, and locally grown and made food, the Todd County Fair Grounds is the place you'll want to be on Sept. 22nd!

In celebration of food grown locally in Central Minnesota and the rich cultural diversity of the local farming and food community, the Central Chapter of the Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) invites the community to attend the second annual Minnesota Salsa Fest from 1 to 10 p.m. Sat., Sept. 22, at the Todd County Fairgrounds in Long Prairie. Salsa Fest features live music, dancing, local vendors and fun for the whole family.

Minnesota Salsa Fest started a few years back in Long Prairie to showcase the area's businesses, farmers, restaurants, and just have a really great time! This year at the event there will be public voting in three salsa categories (Red, Verde, or Pico de Gallo), salsa ice cream for sampling and sale, and live music by The Stearns County Pachanga Society.
