Minnesota State Representative Announces Engagement

AN ENGAGEMENT

Love is in the air for State Representative Dan Wolgamott, (DFL) District 14B. I asked Dan if he could share a bit of his story with us.

Representative Wolgamott said, "Erika and I met through our service in state government. She has worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and currently works remotely for the University of Minnesota. We both share a passion for service in state government. I proposed to her while we were swimming in the ocean as the sun was setting. (I found an affordable resort in Mexico, it was perfect!)"

Dan shared with me today that he's excited to marry the love of his life, and that his daughters, he, and his fiance are all very excited.

Dan told me that he's not usually 'THE MOST' romantic person in the world, but said that sometimes, you have to make sure you do things right; so he had the opportunity to propose just as the sun was setting on the ocean, and he took the opportunity to ask the big question.

WEDDING BELLS?

I didn't ask if he and his fiance have set a wedding date at this point; as I thought it might be nice for them to just relish in the memories of becoming newly engaged, and hopefully they will be able to take their time in making their plans so that they can both carry on their community service that they love.
