With over 180 breweries and taprooms around Minnesota, it can be hard to stand out.

And yet, Finnegans Brew Co. in Minneapolis has found a unique way to do that with a completely philanthropic approach to business. Focused on creating healthy communities, Finnegans is the only brewery in the world that donates 100% of profit back to local charities! Since 2018 and with support from business partners like Martin Williams (advertising), Summit Brewing Co. (contract brewing), Clear Channel Outdoors (advertising) and others, Finnegans has been able to focus entirely on brewing beer for good causes including The Food Group (MN), Hunger Task Force (WI), Great Plains Food Bank (ND) and Feeding South Dakota (SD). Now, Finnegans has announced its latest new beer for a new cause.

Rescue + Recharge is a new lager coming soon to retailers with a portion of proceeds going to support Firefighters for Healing which itself supports first responders and burn survivors. "This brightly packaged, firefighter themed, limited time release kicks off the annual FINNEGAN’S Drink Like You Care campaign," reads an official statement, "where the company goes above and beyond their year-round community impact, allowing consumers to celebrate the holiday season knowing they’ve done a little extra good with each pint or purchase."

Rescue + Recharge is described as a "crisp clean lager" and "classic beer." At just 4.5% ABV it's sure to be "a refreshing way to recharge after a long day." The light lager will be available in 12-packs at select retailers beginning November 1. Finnegans beer is currently available at a number of St. Cloud area liquor stores and businesses including:
