Loken, who runs Blondies Butcher Shop in the small Southern Minnesota town of Wanamingo, was once a paramedic but was burned out. According to the business's website, it was after a phone call to her dad, who was living in Wanamingo told her that the meat locker across the street was for sale, and that led her to come to Minnesota and open up Blondies.

Sitka, which is a growing outdoor brand, got its start in 2005 when "Jason Hairston, a former NFL linebacker, started with the realization that hunting gear was inadequate for the demands of hunting in various climates and conditions, prompting the creation of technical, performance-focused clothing."
The event is expected to start this Saturday, March 15th, at 1pm at the Sitka retail location in Maple Grove.
