Most Annoying Things Houseguests Do
My family usually hosts Christmas and we are houseguests at my husband's Aunt's house each Thanksgiving. It's nice showing up with bottles of wine, rolls and/or a dish to share. Not having to figure out how to make a turkey is a plus for me. Or spending hours slaving away in the kitchen. I think it's important to be a good guest and offer to help, but some people just don't think the same way I do. And this survey I found show that.
According to a new survey, it's the MOST annoying thing houseguests can do. Here are the top ten . . .
1. Arrive unannounced or without an invitation.
2. Snoop around.
3. Break or damage something.
4. Leave behind a mess when they're gone.
5. Be too loud.
6. Smoke.
7. Leave a mess in the bathroom.
8. Stay up late watching TV with the volume cranked up.
9. Go out and come home drunk.
10. Be too demanding.
Just a few days away from Thanksgiving, you are probably getting ready to be a houseguest or host many houseguests those things above are things you may want to keep in mind.
In this survey, they also asked the people what they did to be annoying as a house guest and there is one that shot to the top of the list. One person said they were sleeping in the living room naked. That would be just awkward not so much rude.
Another one mentioned redoing their Christmas decorations without asking. The last one I will mention is someone admitting to punching a hole in a wall. I bet that person was mortified the next day? Wonder if alcohol was involved in some way, shape or form on that one.
If you want to be considered the best host ever here are some things you may want to keep in mind. Have plenty of towels, a comfy clean bed, and letting your guests know your Wi-Fi password.
