NE-YO & AKON: This August Performing At MN’s Newest Concert Venue

Minnesota's newest concert venue is going to be VERY busy this year. The new amphitheater in Shakopee just announced another huge show coming to Minnesota this summer, and if you grew up in the 2000s, this is your concert. NE-YO & AKON are stopping by, and it's promised to be a party!

Every City, Every Vibe, Every Night - A Party

NE-YO & AKON: Nights Like This Tour is going to stop at the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in August, and fans should be pumped. This is going to be one high-energy show that will most likely hit you right in the feels. 

The show will be on August 5th at the newly opened Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee. The openers for the show haven't been announced yet, but tickets go on sale this Friday, January 30th at 10am!

NE-YO

NE-YO, who is from Arkansas, burst onto the music scene after writing Mario's hit "Let Me Love You" in 2004, where it became a major hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. NE-YO then launched a solo career with hits like "So Sick" and "Miss Independent", as well as still writing hits for artists such as Beyonce.

AKON

Akon rose to fame in the early to mid-2000s with hits like "Locked Up" and "Smack That" he is known for blending R&B with hip-hop. On top of being successful as a solo artist, Akon is also the person behind artists like Lady Gaga and T-Pain by signing them to his labels, Konvict Muzik and KonLive, early on in their careers.
