NWS: Record Cold Temps Possible Next Week

UNDATED -- It isn't officially winter yet but early next week temperatures will be consistent with January, vs. early November. A strong cold front will move through the region next weekend.

Temperatures behind this front will average nearly 25 to 35 degrees below normal.

Based on similarities of an air mass in 1986, record temperatures are possible next Monday and Tuesday.

This forecast is still 6-7 days out, but these forecast temperatures have been consistent over the past two days.
