Minnesota Nice is alive and well in the Brainerd lakes area. A chain of paying it forward for the next customer in line lasted for 2 and a half days and served over 900 customers.

The Dairy Queen at 522 C St. NE said that their chain started at their drive-thru window on Thursday, December 3rd posting periodic updates on their Facebook page as the chain grew and grew.

The first post was super cute to re-read as we now know the outcome:

Not sure if its the sun shining, or the Christmas Spirit is already here... But it started with one and we are now at about 48 cars that have paid it forward! Lets keep this caring train going!

Obviously word got out and people decided that it was a great time for a bite to eat and some ice cream from DQ. In addition to the cars in line paying for the car behind them, they were also allowing people to round up their totals and collecting change Gillette Children's Hospital. When all was said and done and the chain ended on Saturday night and over 900 cars participated in the "Pay it Forward" push. The owners even told the Brainerd Dispatch people had so much fun there were a few repeat customers.

Thank you to all of our Fans for Paying it forward. It was awesome to experience
