There are so many songs that Prince wrote, but other artists made hits. Some are pretty well known for being written by him. Songs like "Nothing Compares 2 U" - Sinead O'Connor, "Glamorous Life" - Sheila E. and "I Feel For You" - Chaka Kahn.

Some songs a lot of people didn't know about until many years later, like "Maniac Monday" - Bangles and "Stand Back" - Stevie Nicks (co-wrote music). It's was always cool when you find out that somebody's song was a "Prince song."

A bunch more artists are going to be performing Prince songs on CBS. The network will be airing "Let's Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince," Tuesday night at 8 pm. They filmed it back in January, and if you have CBS All Access, you watch it now.

It is an interesting list of artists performing. Usher, Beck, Chris Martin, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Foo Fighters, just to name a few. Since we've heard so many artists perform songs he's written over the years, I'm curious about what these artists do with some of the songs Prince is known for. See the entire list at CBS.com

There are a few music artists that I've had a chance to see, but because of one thing or another, I didn't go. It would turn out to be a decision I would regret down the road. I'm glad Prince isn't one of them. I was lucky enough to see him perform at Xcel in 2004. Right after he had been inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame.
