Renaissance Festival to Take Place in Shakopee

I recently turned 25 years old, and I can say without a doubt that I am the most immature adult that I know. At heart I’m still 13. Think I’m exaggerating? I’m not. I’m absurdly immature to be 25.

Whenever a new Star Wars film hits theaters my cousin and I rent out an auditorium on opening night and go dressed up as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to celebrate the occasion. Yes, I am a man child. While other people my age are getting married and having kids, I’m playing with lightsabers – which honestly sounds like a much more fun time to me.

Keep your kids and long term commitments away from me. I’m allergic. As a seasoned man child, I’m pretty excited for the Renaissance Festival to come to Shakopee next month.

If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a festival spanning 7 weekends in a row where attendees dress up and celebrate medieval life. It’s a blast. The Renaissance Festival starts August 18^th at 9 am and will be occurring every weekend until it’s final date on September 30^th.
