A contestant on Monday's episode of The Price is Right won an all-expense paid trip to a resort in Belize owned by a Minnesota couple.

On Monday night's 8,491st episode of The Price is Right, a contestant from Canada -- known only as Tara -- competed for a 6-night stay at a private resort in Belize. In a game called "Freeze Frame," Tara correctly guessed the price of the $6,847 trip and won the stay at an overwater cabana at  St. George's Caye Resort -- a resort owned by a Minnesota couple.

The Mankato Free Press reports that Tim and Kristi Loose of New Ulm bought the Belize resort in July 2017 with the help and encouragement of some real estate and developer contacts.

"I would have never done something so crazy without Curt and April mentoring me," the Mankato Free Press quotes Tim as saying, "Curt [who also owns and sells property in Belize] knows all the ins and outs down there."

According to Tim, someone from The Price is Right reached out over the summer asking if they'd be willing to give away a trip to their resort as a prize. They agreed to, and the show covers the round-trip airfare.

St. George's Caye Resort is located on a small island just 300 feet wide by a mile long. Besides some other vacation homes, they're the only commercial endeavor on the island which sits just seven miles off the coast of Belize.

According to the resort's description: "The 12 thatch cabanas and oceanfront villa offer rustic beachfront luxury with air conditioning, ceiling fans, ensuite bathrooms, and morning coffee and juice delivered."

By the way -- the resort is adults only. *Rushes to website to book villa*
