It sounds like there's a chance that Minnesota could join Arizona and Hawaii in no longer springing forward and falling back each year. There's bipartisan support for the idea, and Governor Walz says he's open to conversations about it.

But here's the real question: Which one do we follow?  Daylight saving time does just that-saves more light for us in the evening. Standard time seems to be tougher for some people, as it's darker much earlier. That's never bothered me, but I do understand how it might affect others.
