I know that talking about Fall things like Back to School, Pumpkin Spice everything, the State Fair, and anything else that shows that Summer is coming to an end is kind of a bummer.  Unless you really like cooler, brisk Autumn air, and... Halloween!

HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

Every year there is some costume that is the "big thing" and the most popular one for the season.  This year you have to assume that it will probably be from one of the popular movies.  Maybe the latest installment of Mission Impossible, Final Destination, Naked Gun, Happy Gilmore, or something that was in the news that was a crazy story.  Remember the Kim Kardashian costume that was inspired by her robbery in Paris?  That one was really in bad taste.  But nonetheless, there it was.

LOCATIONS

This year, Spirit Halloween that will always occupy a space that has been vacated by another store. So it's usually not in the same space twice.

The locations for Spirit Halloween have been announced.  This is a little earlier than usual.  Either they are way more on the ball this year, or there were lots of vacated spaces around the state.  It could also be a combination of the two.

ST CLOUD

The location here in St. Cloud is scheduled to open this month.  There was no exact date, however.  Just says "Opening in August"  This year Spirit Halloween will be occupying the former JoAnn Fabrics space in the Savers Complex which is also near Chuck E Cheese and Harbor Freight.  Right behind where Bonanza used to be.
