St. Joe Distillery To Raise Funds for Animals in Need

CHEERS! Or SKOL! Either way, those are words that a lot of people say around here. Let’s face it, most of us don’t need to look far for a reason to gather with friends and have our favorite beverage.

The work weeks can get quite long sometimes, or maybe it’s just the weight of life itself. So, kickin’ back for a drink with good friends is deserved most of the time.  

Especially when you can say you’re doing it for a good reason, and I’ve got one of those for you. The Tri-County Humane Society is asking for your help, and you can enjoy a delicious beverage in the process. 

Saturday from 2-4, the Tri-County Humane Society is teaming up with Obbink Distilling in St. Joe for a fundraising effort. Obbink's Distilling is creating a signature cocktail to help the cause, and with every beverage sold, the Tri-County Humane Society will get $1. 

You can stop by during that time and try the signature drink, and if Gregg Obbink’s experience factors it to the taste of this drink, it’s bound to be good. Gregg is a scientist and former NASA Satellite tester who happens to have a passion for quality spirits.  

And he’s obviously got a big heart since he’s helping the Humane Society.  

While you’re there, you can meet some of the pets that the Tri-County Humane Society has for adoption. That’s another area you can help make an impact on animals in our area.  

The Tri County-Humane Society has been connecting pets and families since 1974, and it’s their desire to connect the right pet to the right family.  

Help them with their operating costs and having a great time in the process by stopping by Obbink Distillery Saturday from 2-4. Obbink’s is located at 11 Date Street East in St. Joe.
