Super Smash Bros Tournament Takes Place At LGS Electronics
Personally, I’ve never been a huge gamer. For some reason I’ve never understood the appeal. I know a lot of people my age (25) and younger who do absolutely nothing with their time besides play video games.
As a matter of fact, my youngest brother just so happens to be one such gamer. The kid could probably play professionally is he put his mind to it. Every now and then when I get the itch to play, I sit down with him, we throw a game on, and within minutes he has demolished me at whatever game I’ve attempted to play.
It’s rather discouraging, and it typically scares me away from the T.V. for a couple of months. I find most games to be too difficult for me, but there is one game that I still play on occasion that has a special place in my heart. I’m talking about Super Smash Brothers.
When I was a kid, this was one of the first games that my brothers and I started playing together. Back then, I was the reigning champ. Not so much now-a-days. Nevertheless, I still enjoy playing.
That’s why I’m excited for the Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament this Saturday (July 28th) at LGS electronics (St. Cloud.) It starts at 2 p.m. and it’s absolutely free to compete.
