Halloween this year falls on a Wednesday.

Now, one might argue that a mid-week holiday is a nuisance, and some are -- at time of writing over 32,000 people have signed an online petition to move Halloween from the 31st of October to the last Saturday of the month.

To be fair, I get it -- kids have school the next day, parents have work the next day, and it could make scheduling or hosting a Halloween activity or event the day of difficult.

On the flip-side, one might also argue that a mid-week holiday actually doubles or even triples the amount of fun -- you could celebrate Halloween (or any given holiday) the weekend before, the day of and the weekend after!

Anyways, I wonder what you think -- would you rather celebrate Halloween or any given holiday over a weekend or don't you mind mid-week holidays?
