The Minnesota Department of Public Safety-Office of Traffic Safety has announced another round of grant funding to equip school buses with stop arm cameras.
The Minnesota State Patrol posted a scary video yesterday showing a motorist failing to stop for a school bus and narrowly missing a 4th grade student.
Beginning today, driving past a school bus with it's lights on and arm extended -- which is a bad & dangerous idea for all kinds of reasons -- will cost you $500 as of today in Minnesota. (And it should.)
